Learning to Dive

Blue Lagoon Arlesey, Bedfordshire
The Blue lagoon is an old clay flooded pit, accessed by a vehicle track from Arlesey. It has a jetty and small beach leading to the water.
The lake is about 12 metres deep. In the water can be found huts, hoppers, bogies, boat wrecks a training base at 6m and some rather large pike!

Note that the lake is private property. The diving club has special permission to use the lake.
Max depth 12m
The lake is used most weekends by the club.
Stoney Cove Stoney Stanton, Leicestershire
Rather larger than the Blue Lagoon, Stoney Cove is a popular dive centre and is termed the National Diving Centre. The lake covers 13 acres and is 36 metres at its deepest point. The lake is structured with a novice area (7m), the majority of the lake at 22m and an ‘expert’ section at 36m
The lake is commercialised with bar, showers/toilets and shop. It also host a full dive centre
Underwater are a submarine, helicopter, aircraft cockpit, various cars and various other submerged boats.
